Marge F., Sep 7, 2008, 6:01AM EDTHi Barbara - Santa Barbara is heaven on earth. It's a bit expensive so when I bought a condo I purchased one about 30 miles south in Ventura but I lived and worked in Santa Barbara for 14 years. I feel like I live where everyone else wants to vacation!
I have 2 cats, or rather they have me! One tuxedo cat, Rags, who is about 12 years old and a little girl named Sere (short for Serendipity) who is 2. Both are foundlings and are terribly spoiled. -
CyberGwen !, Aug 24, 2008, 12:26PM EDTHi Barbara!
Thanks for the connection!
The list of reasons that a laptop is better for me than a desktop is Endless!
First, I can be anywhere in my house, not shackled to the desk in the office/guest room.
Second, the tension that I was starting to notice in my shoulders and neck is gone because I am not shackled to the above mentioned desk.
Third, I work from home and now I can work even when we get away for a few days. (although I am sure that my BF would like to strangle me when I do!)
Need more?
The last time I took a typing test, it was on a desktop. I was around 80 WPM. I am still getting used to a slightly small keyboard and no 10 key, so I will bet that I am a bit slower now!
Have a great day! -

Barbara,
I don't often check my pings, so I just read your ping to me a few minutes ago. Are you still having problems creating a card in Word?
I'm sorry for the delay in responding!!
